1) Water drunk before a meal acts like nectar

     Water drunk during a meal is neutral

    Water drunk after a meal acts like poison

2) Ghee(clarified butter) is for the inside of the body

    Oil is for the outside of the body

3) Early to bed, early to rise, makes one happy,

    healthy and wise

4) In massage-sesame seed oil for the body,

    mustard seed oil for the head

 

 

5) Eat only pure vegetarian

6) Semen passed weakens the body, the mind, the resolve

     Semen retained builds strength, vitality, determination,

     good health and the finer tissues of the brain

7) Regular fasting is good for health (say 2 days per month)

8) Drinks should be drunk at room temperature, not chilled

9) Hot milk before taking rest has miraculous effects and

    is conducive to nice dreams and a good nights rest

10) Regulation of habits is important to good health and well being

11) Be clean in body, mind and thoughts

12) Brisk walking as a daily exercise is important

 

 

(13) Early morning sun on the back (short period) strengthens and vitalizes the body.

      Afternoon sun depletes energy and vitality leading to tideness and drowsyness.

14) Sleep with your head facing east or north-east to align

     yourself with astrlogical influences - conducive to a

     sound nights rest

15) duration of life is shortened not so much because of insufficient food but because of irregular habits.
     By keeping regular habits and eating simple food, any man can maintain his health. Overeating, over-sense gratification,
     overdependence on another's mercy, and artificial standards of living sap the very vitality of human energy.
