Beginners class This class offers detailed instruction on postures and alignment. Pranayama is introduced to develope deeper awareness of breath control. General class These are a mixed level class suitable for beginners through to intermediate level. The class focuses on yoga postures(asanas) conducive to enhancing health, strength and flexibility. Instuction is given to enable the correct performance of asanas according to the level of experience and flexibility of the individual. Morning Meditation with Yogi Caru These weekly classes will be design to wake up the mind from sleeping, prepare it for a productive day with ancient techniques practiced by yogis in the Himalayas for thousands of years. 1- Psychic breathing techniques to quiet the mind 2- Chakra visualization – stimulation of the energy centers in the body 3- Mantra meditation using japa mala (meditation beads) 4- Yoga Nidra – psychic sleeping, conscious relaxation. Caru For the past 17 years Caru has had the great fortune to practice traditional hatha yoga with some of the worlds great yoga teachers. He is a teacher in the hatha vinyasa tradition (dynamic flow yoga) He is an inspirational teacher who passionately shares his knowledge of yoga with his students. Caru's techniques allow people from all walks of life to experience balance, harmony and physical fitness. His caring and dynamic style of communication has taken him around the globe giving insruction on advanced yoga posture, yoga philosophy and meditation techniques. Claudine Claudine comes to Australia from NYC and brings an abundance of experience and training. She has been practicing and teaching for over ten years in various fields of healing. Her meditation practice began five years ago, receiving her Sanskrit name Kalpana (cosmic imagination). She received her initial training from Kripalu Yoga Center and has since completed Iyengar training and Ananda Marga Yoga and Meditation training. She has also completed training at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a Holistic Health Counselor. Through her own transformation, she brings a loving approach and attention to detail within her classes and her work with clients. Her focus is to create a safe space where her students can feel comfortable to be themselves and explore the joys of movement within their own bodies.
